This piece is inspired by a true to life moment that happened to a group of my high school friends and I. The situation was so funny to us then that it immediately became one of our timeless stories, a testament to our groups longstanding friendship and a memory none of us could easily forget. Over the years that story transformed into one of my first stand-up jokes, and eventually the screenplay for my debut comedy short film. This film encapsulates my growth as a comedian, and features many of the melodramatic and absurd storytelling techniques that are unique to my voice.
