My World Turned Black
On September 9, 2020, the entire west coast experienced its worse firestorm that made the entire day look black, red and orange.
Experimental filmmaker Sage Christian Drake ("Our Shot," "About Maddy") wrote a poem from this event and made a short from the experiences.

Movies are not always warm and fuzzy. Sometimes you make films that are dark and that might make people feel uncomfortable on certain subjects. I am someone who always see the positive in all things even if it does feels dark, grim and uncertain. I see the beauty in all things and I've been very fortunate at that.
