My Universe
In a desperate bid to save his daughter from a fatal disease, Leor Fidem must delve into a long-forgotten, mind-bending theory of quantum physics that his wife proposed years before they met. As he grapples with the boundaries of science and reality, Leor discovers that the key to his daughter's survival may lie in the uncharted realms of quantum mechanics and faith.

Daniel is a French independent film director, screenwriter, film editor, photographer, and occasional actor. He studied film directing and editing in Toulouse, France, and has directed several low-budget independent short films. His passion for the world of cinema ignited at the age of 12 when he directed his first short film with friends. His primary dedication lies in the field of film directing.
I have always been a passionate enthusiast of science, astronomy, and especially quantum physics. As Richard Feynman famously said, "If you think you understand quantum mechanics, you don't understand quantum mechanics." This quote has always highlighted for me the mysterious and elusive nature of quantum physics.
In our attempt to explore and develop a mind-bending theory, I had an enlightening three-hour conversation with a quantum physics professor from France. This collaboration was instrumental in crafting the script for this film.
Though the story delves into the complexities of a quantum physics lecture, touching on subjects that may be difficult to grasp for some, outrageous and absurd to others, and hopefully intriguing to a few, our aim is to open your eyes to the endless possibilities that can arise from thought experiments and theoretical exploration in quantum physics.
However, I must emphasize that this short film is not intended to promote any false theories, absurd statements, or pseudoscience. It is purely for entertainment purposes. This film is not a statement of any kind but rather a compelling story meant to spark discussion and ideas around the table with friends. Our message is simple: Love is the most powerful force in the world, and the world is full of mysteries.
