My Name Is My Name
"Once, a long time ago, when the ground was soft, the land was rich and, owls had horns, in, a distant land, Sebakwe, lived star-crossed lovers, an exiled crown heir, Nyatsimba, and his beautiful wife, Mafuta a seer."

Xolani Mkwananzi & Clinton Zvoushe are a duo of video creators based in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.
Under their imprint, Urban Legend Pictures formed in early 2019, they've been producing captivating music videos, documentaries, 3d animations and now short-films.
Some of their most notable works include:
- “CHOSEN ׀ Ft Bakhar & Remy Shoots” (2019) Documentary
- “My Name Is My Name” (2023) Short Film
- “Asaph - Vibe is Correct Music Video” (2019)
- "#ILoveMsizkay Concert 2022 The Whole Story" (2023) Documentary
Xolani and Clinton's dexterity and obsession towards their craft have kept them on their toes, helping to build their experience and efficiency as the projects come and get finished.
Apart from the financial incentives of winning the competition, our main motive behind producing the film, “My Name Is My Name” was the burning desire to shed more light on Zimbabwe and Southern Africa’s traditional stories.
Zimbabwe in particular has a rich cultural heritage which is unfortunately neglected in the modern era due to the economic challenges we face and a preference of Western “international” culture over our own roots.
We come from multicultural families and resonate more with our native Shona and Ndebele languages that are long overdue for representation in advanced media such as 3d animation in their full authenticity.
We hope you enjoy and learn from this film that our team and us have poured our passion into to give viewers worldwide an epic experience!
