Director Biography - Rachel Frank

I am a Los Angeles based director, first AD and producer. I have had a passion for filmmaking since I was ten years old. As the years went on I took multiple film classes throughout both middle and high school and decided to study film full time when I got into college. Since graduating with a bachelors in film I have been freelancing full time in both the state of Florida and California. This is my second directorial film.

Director Statement

This film will always have a special place in my heart because it's a real representation of some of the things I personally struggled with while going through my own mental health journey.

The words spoken throughout the film are journal entries I personally wrote during my own experiences, which is the main reason I titled this experimental film "My Intrusive Thoughts".

I hated feeling like I was all alone in this world, as if no one could possibly understand how much I was struggling and I never want to imagine someone else feeling that way. My goal with this film is to make people feel a little less alone in this world.
