My Favorite Season
Feifei, a promising young Chinese fashion student, struggles to survive her internship with tyrannical genius Jean-Pierre Drevon, the top designer in all of Paris.
Feifei Liu grew up poor in a small town in China, but she always had big dreams of becoming a clothing designer. She learned to rework second-hand clothes scavenged from thrift stores into punk-rock art, reflecting her taste and developing serious skills - so serious, in fact, that she attends the best collegiate design program in China on full scholarship. After graduating, Feifei wins an internship at the most prestigious fashion house in Paris, Maison Drevon, run by relentless design legend Jean-Pierre Drevon. Once she arrives in Paris and starts working under Jean-Pierre’s unforgiving tutelage, though, she finds that her education has only just begun.

"I've long wanted to share my own personal interest in fashion. My love for it really began when I got the chance to attend New York Fashion Week while still a grad student at Columbia. For many years, I have attended Paris Fashion Week and each season is a revelation to me. What I wish to do with MY FAVORITE SEASON is to open the curtain, and show the passion & immense obsession that goes into creating just a single collection. It's my firm belief that all the intensity that goes on behind the scenes in contrast with the effortlessly glamorous facade shown to the public will make for very compelling cinema, and I'm excited to bring it to life." - Raymond Lawrence (Larry) Sullivan
