Director Biography - Tom Procida

Tom is an award winning filmmaker whose films have received high recognition worldwide and can be seen on AMAZON PRIME VIDEO.

As an actor of 30+ years, Tom has been seen in a wide range of projects such as commercials, industrials, theatrical plays, indie films, national and international TV shows including PRISON BREAK, FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, and the Mexican telenovela POR AMAR SIN LEY.

His future plans consist of the continuing journey, as an actor and film maker, to fulfill the goals of bringing meaningful and thought-provoking stories into the world.

Director Statement

My father was a shy, introverted boy growing up. Fortunately, he had an aunt who, in her time, was a liberated, open-minded and forward-thinking woman.

The parallels between their relationship and the one held by Luke and Sally were strikingly similar as told in this wonderful, award-winning script, by writer and co-producer Heather Kennedy.

Sadly, not long after reading MY DEAR AUNT SALLY, my beloved Great Aunt Rose passed away at age 96.

At that point, in no uncertain terms, I knew I had to direct this story to life.
