Director Statement

We all sometimes tend to think about our lives in a very silly way that makes us forget about the blessings we have. We tend to feel ungrateful, selfish and self-centered. However we should not forget that at the end of the day family must always stick together no matter how hard the circumstances are. Every one of us should believe in the process and the right timing for things to happen in our lives and not to blame it on anyone in case things aren’t working the way we want it to. The obstacles and the problems that Kristi went through, even if it was only in her head, were making her struggle with jealousy, distancing her from her brother and making her feel ungrateful for her mother’s support. Seeing the misery of a stranger who just lost a brother was a wake up call for Kristi, she realized that she really does love her brother and can’t live without him. Feeling blessed for every family member we have and being patient while believing that good things are going to happen at the right timing are the main messages of this short film.
