Director Biography - Patrick Sutherland

Patrick Sutherland was born in raised in London, Ontario. After graduating Fanshawe College, he moved to Vancouver BC where he began shooting and editing training videos, concerts and weddings. He soon moved on to shoot narrative short films and music videos. When not working behind the camera, he worked on a number of commercial sets for Tim Horton's, Wendy's, McCafe and Price Chopper among others. Recently, Patrick worked on the set of Guillermo del Toro's "The Shape of Water" and the TV Series "Arrow".

Today Patrick continues filming a range of projects with the goal of working full time as a director of photography. He also shoots actor head shots with his partner Andressa Rivers at Cue 2 Cue Photography.

A traveling salesman confesses to a priest that he may have committed a sin, and recounts the night he picked up a mysterious silent hitchhiker. This was our concept trailer we shot as part of Stephen King's Dollar Babies promotion. The trailer features actor Robert David Duncan playing the lead character.
