Randy Schmidt grew up in California and graduated with a BA degree in Motion Picture/Television from UCLA. After working in the Los Angeles film industry, he moved to Tokyo, Japan, and has been working as a cameraman-editor for CBS News since 2006, covering stories all over Asia, including Japan, China, North Korea, India, etc.
Dylan is Randy's son (age 10 as of June 2020). He attends elementary school in Tokyo. He's smart, humorous, innovative, talented, and a chess champion!
Together, Randy and Dylan made several stop-motion-animated movies, including two James Bond movies (2019's "The Man with the Chocolate Gun" and 2020's "Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang") and the new pandemic lockdown sitcom series "Two Superheroes, a Villain, and a Baby" (2021).
I made this movie in order to teach my son how to make stop-motion animated movies.
