James Fink-Jensen is a filmmaker from Auckland, New Zealand. James has created Stonehedge Films, a production company with Mr India being its first entry into its catalogue of films.
Since the age of twelve, James, along with his friends, have made low budget short films for platforms like YouTube. Over the last half decade, he has studied filmmaking at high school and the University of Auckland.
James' first entry into film festivals was a short film called "Street Games". Made in 2017, it was self-funded, and he employed an assemble of actors and crew. He won "Best Student Film" as well as "Honorable Mention" at various minor film festivals.
James' favourite genre of film is drama. Likewise, he is fascinated with the art form of lower budget independent films, which tell authentic tales of protagonists we do not usually associate ourselves with.
James wants to grow as a screenwriter and director, with the intention of making short and feature films during his career.
With Mr India, I and the Stonehedge Films team, want to portray Pratik as an individual who will push himself to the very extreme. The art form of documentary filmmaking gave us the ability to honour his drive and determination. We see his development as a strong contender for the title of "Mr India".
His dedication to strengthening his mind and body has no bounds. We wanted to show his mental struggle, and shed a light on how one can come out of it as a transformed person, with every good intention to help others.
