Nyx was born and raised in Lahore, Pakistan, moving to Canada at the young age of four and residing there for more than two decades. In her teens, she thought she wanted to be a computer programmer and went to Sheridan College to study it. She ended up not being as passionate as she thought, so she decided to work for the remainder of her life, working her way up through the kitchen. Nyx has multiple years in the kitchen, front of the house, and back, and she's even liquor licensed. During COVID, she wanted to do something more in her life, so she sought help from a professional life coach, who sparked the joys of high school, which was being a lighting technician for drama plays. When speaking to Nyx's brother, Murtaza gave her the idea of moving into filmmaking. Ever since Nyx's brother gave her that idea, she's been moving to make that dream a reality. Directing her first Documentary “More Than a Disorder” in 2022, Nyx has never felt this passion before, and she is only just getting started.
