Brad began his career in film as a movie enthusiast and critic. While completing his degree in History at Western University he produced and hosted the pop culture radio show “Nerd Alert” on 94.9 CHRW, which twice won Outstanding Spoken Word Show, and earned him the John McKenna Award for Outstanding Dedication and the Adrienne Arsenault Award for Volunteer of the Year. Radio introduced him to the local film community, and moved him to begin work on a series of shorts exploring the themes of morality and existentialism. Once graduated, he enrolled in the Advanced Filmmaking program at Fanshawe College, where he won Best Film and the Student’s Choice Award at the AFM First Take Film Festival. Brad entered the Toronto film and television industry as an Assistant Director in 2013, and has since been involved on numerous productions including The Expanse, Kim’s Convenience, and What We Do in the Shadows. He continues to collaborate with friends and colleagues in the industry, serving as both a writer and producer on their projects as well as his own.
My goal is to tell stories that are compelling and accessible to everyone.
Moore’s Void is a story that tackles how we, as individuals and as a community, approach the singularity in its infancy and reckon with both the emotional and existential crossroads that may come with the technology as it evolves.
While suspenseful and at times horrific, Moore's Void at its heart is a character piece that balances the conflicting views between a grieving parent seeking closure with their child and their anger with what they perceive to be a morally misguided enterprise which seeks to profit off the vulnerable. The film poses a question to the audience… “what is your price for the ability to wake again?”
