"Moonshine Over Kepler County," three moonshiners in the backwoods encounter a spaceship and its crew searching for fuel. Amidst moonshine-fueled revelry and cultural misunderstandings, the misfit groups clash hilariously, leading to unexpected adventures through hyperspace and a comical clash between the rural characters and the advanced, bureaucratic spaceship crew.

Director Biography - Kyle D. Lee

Kyle's penchant for surrealist dark comedy is as endearing as it is concerning, and his sharp sense of all things preposterous drives much of his work. A born-and-raised Kentuckian, Kyle now resides in Lexington with his lovely partner and their hellhound, and every now and then you may find yourself witnessing the rare occasion of Kyle being seen in public and actually enjoying himself. His films range from the comedic to the melancholic, but always carry the slight twinge of the sardonic macabre with which he is perhaps most recognizable.
