Director Biography - Luis Miguel Vergara Hernandez

Tolima, Colombia. A student of Audiovisual Media Direction and Production at the Corporación Unificada Nacional (CUN), has created fiction shorts, documentary shorts, and music videos filmed in their hometown of Guamo. Undertaking multiple roles in each production, including producer, director, scriptwriter, cinematographer, and editor. Additionally, they have been involved in other short films as a field producer and script supervisor.

Director Statement

Mónica y el lobo addresses rape in a different way through metaphors and references, it seeks to empower girls and women, and give a stop message to more situations like these. This project explores the audiovisual through photography since the entire short film was recorded one hundred percent with cell.
