Mojave Desert Rescue: The Documentary

Every year the U.S. Bureau of Land Management conducts wild horse roundups in various western states using various methods, including helicopters. During these roundups horses are traumatized and when injured because of being chased by a helicopter or jumping over roundup fences. The injured horses are often euthanized. The roundups have been described as inhumane and barbaric.

Mojave Desert Rescue: The Documentary is a short film about the plight of wild horses and the people bringing light to this issue and helping to rescue them.

Director Biography - Eric Coleman

Eric Coleman grew up in Redondo Beach California, where he has run for mayor in a satirical campaign, garnishing 10% of the vote. He got his feet wet in cable access television before traveling to Canada to attend Vancouver Film School.

After moving to Chicago in 2008, he has gone on to collaborate in numerous theatrical productions and film projects, including Bloody Haymarket, which was inspired by his experiences as a tour guide.

In 2020 he moved to Southern Nevada where he draws cartoons for the Pahrump Valley Times and Tonopah Bonanza Times.

Coleman and his core friends share an immense enthusiasm in bringing drama and comedy to life.
