Experiencing Interruptions?

Miss Roxie

The impressionable Roxie Capri who never speaks up, finally finds her voice. No longer willing to take her boss's accusations, and be the scapegoat for the company's failure - she has enough! Contrary to Florence Kleinfeld, Roxie Capri cares about her life and tries her best to make it the best it can be. She believes that the newspaper should publish stories that benefit its readers. On the other hand, Florence believes that the newspaper should only publish stories that will boost its profits. The two have been unable to reach a compromise on the matter, and a heated argument goes down.

Director Statement

My first debut short film is called "Miss Roxie". I am extremely proud of this project, from the day I wrote it during brunch, to every moment I became a mix of Roxie and Florence. This short film is my love. When I transformed between the two characters, it was an interesting feeling of confronting a fear, to yelling at that fear. Between the costume changes, and set design changes being all my own, I wore many hats to produce Miss Roxie!
