Maki is a senior high school student who lives in the countryside of Japan.
She and her movie club friends filmed their city’s PR video, but Maki was not satisfied.
One day, Maki came up with a new plan for the video.
She begged her friends and the teacher in charge to give her a second chance so she can re-film the video during spring camp.
Misako, Maki’s cousin who works as an idol, and Hirokazu, the teacher’s old friend who was a movie director, joined them from Tokyo
to help them through the spring camp.
But Misako and Hirokazu each had a secret...

Director Biography - Takuya Matsumoto

Born in 1976 in Tokyo, Japan. After working as comedy duo for 10 years, Takuya started to make films in his own way. His short films and feature films have been nominated and won many awards in more than 30 film festivals.

Director Statement

This movie is made up of Three Stories and Five Chapters. When these three story lines join together, it starts to evolve.
This is a POV (point of view shot) drama which is made up from videos only filmed by the characters. A type of ambitious work which requires a high level of entertainment though it is not often seen. The shooting was done in Niigata Prefecture during spring, the season of beginnings, blessed by the cherry blossoms. With young actresses chosen by auditions playing the characters who are at the centre of the story, more than 60 actors and actresses come together to make this unique youthful group performance.
