Experiencing Interruptions?

Mirbeen

Mirbeen – the central character of the story- in her childhood, her grandmother instilled in her the dream of doing something with the fairy tales of Serdihun (God of Textile in Karbi tribal beliefs), and the desire to make life meaningful secretly sprouted in her mind.
However, in 2005, the fratricidal clashes and ethnic conflict made the entire Karbi land bloody. The Mirbeen's small village in the middle of nature was not spared. Political instability has disrupted the daily lives of the people. Mirbeen's house and village were burnt to ashes. She lost her only close friend Kaban along with many relatives. Kaban was brutally murdered by the assailants. And Mirbeen is also the victim of the same cruelty.
Her life becomes dark. She also began a conflict of ideals with her friend and lover Lanki. Yet she doesn't want to give up, to become a victim of circumstances.
The story of Serdihun, which her grandmother had left in her mind, inspired her to make that dream come true again.
