Mint In Box

Kristoff wasn’t always the quiet funeral director people thought he was. Before he became a husband and father, he was something else entirely — a predator, a serial killer who learned to bury his urges deep beneath a mask of domestic life. For years, his wife and daughter were the only things that kept him tethered, the reasons he chose love over blood.

But when his little girl falls ill with a wasting sickness no doctor could explain, Kristoff’s fragile world fractures. He is contacted with a horrifying solution: to save his daughter, he must take his wife’s life, harvest her organs, and feed them to their daughter. The cure works. She grows stronger. And Kristoff rediscovers something he thought he had buried forever.

Killing feels good. Better than good — it feels right.

Reborn in blood, Kristoff embraces his true self, and this time, he doesn’t hide it. Hunting with his daughter brings him a calming, twisted happiness. Together, they stalk their victims, a family united in carnage. With his skills as a mortician, Kristoff transforms the corpses into grotesque dolls, tokens for his daughter to play with — part comfort, part ritual, part inheritance.

Through flashbacks, we witness his daughters transformation: from a gleeful child filled with love into a willing accomplice, delighting in the horrors her father crafts. Their bond grows stronger with every hunt, every organ harvested, every doll stitched together from the remains.

But as the killings escalate, Kristoff no longer kills out of necessity. He kills because it makes him whole. And with his daughter by his side, the family he always wanted finally feels complete — even if it’s built from the bodies of the innocent.

Mint in Box is a savage, blood-soaked fable of love, legacy, and the monstrous joy of being true to one’s darkest self.
