I am a filmmaker who relocated from Michoacán, Mexico, to make Grand Rapids my home three years ago. Infused with a rich cultural heritage, my work embodies a Latin-American blend of inspiration and artistry. Spending ten years of my childhood and adolescence in Mexico, I returned to Grand Rapids at the age of 16, driven by my strong desire to achieve filmmaking goals. A collaborative way of making art, that has always been at the heart of my creative process, driving me to bring artistic visions to life surrounded by people who I admire. With each project I evolve myself in, I endeavor to relate with my local setting, bridging cultural divides and sharing narratives that resonate universally.
