Midnight Mind
“Hear the rain falling down – streams on the windows. Feel the clouds rolling by – grey against your midnight mind.” These are the opening lyrics to the song and music video for “Midnight Mind.” This piece was composed, produced, and performed by filmmaker and musician, Mara Katria, who likewise directed its award-winning music video. It features German backing vocals by Jeff Ungar (as seen in the 2025 Netflix series “True Haunting: Eerie Hall,” produced by James Wan) and was mastered by Tim Oliver at Real World Studios. According to Mara: “‘Midnight Mind’ was envisioned as an authentic, human story aiming to explore the latent beauty in the proverbial darkness — the give and take of the winds of change. I hope MM will act as a mirror reflecting possible perspectives through which we consider pain and perseverance — ours and each other’s — alone and not-alone.”
