Midnight, Blue

Azul é o rio.
E esta história não existe, a sua origem não está nas vidas que nos rodeiam,e que não deixam a sua marca em nós; nem em espaços vazios onde o espírito humano desvanece à procura de paredes para se apoiar.
Esta história surge com a vontade de contrariar a perspetiva, de ser algo que apenas é definido pelos olhos de quem vê - ou não vê. Estas são perspectivas de um mundo que respira em tons de amarelo, mas que foge com azul; de um pai que desespera e de uma filha que apenas procura respirar.
Procuramos sentir, de formas diferentes, a mesma emoção. Navegamos por elas durante a nossa vida e elas rodeiam-nos, absorvem e abraçam-nos com a sua força; e nada podemos fazer para lhes escaparmos. Alguns de nós nadam, outros flutuam, mas muitos se afogam.

Blue is the river.
And this story does not exist, its origin is not in the lives that surround us, and leave no mark on us; nor in empty spaces where the human spirit fades while seeking walls for support.
This story arises from the desire to challenge perspective, to be something defined only by the eyes of those who see - or do not see. These are perspectives of a world that breathes in shades of yellow but escapes with blue; of a father who despairs and a daughter who is simply trying to breathe.
We seek to feel the same emotion in different ways. We navigate through them during our lives, and they surround us, absorb and embrace us with their strength; and there is nothing we can do to escape them. Some of us swim, others float, but many drown.
