Ride for glory

The film is the story of 1950's bike-racer ValerianoFalsini throught his incredible life of sacrifices and victories while focusing on his tragic friedship with italian cycling champion Fausto Coppi.
"Mi chiamava Valerio" is a dramedy period film about courage in which professional bike racing is the symbol of a wounded and torn Italy trying to raise her head after the terrible events of World War II.
The film won the Award as Best Sport Film 2014 at the Italian Sport awards 2014 and gained amazing responses both from audiences and critics during the Italian limited theatrical release, besides the documentary inspired by the film was screenings at major sport events like the World Cycling Championship 2013 and the Eroica cicloturistica 2013.
