ENGLISH
Filmmaker & analog photographer. Graduated from the Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla (UPAEP) with a degree in Film and Audiovisual Production, specializing in directing. Coming from a family of musicians, he has always felt a strong attraction for the capabilities of music and sound in film, providing a cinematic vision to music videos. In 2023 he starts using the Idioteca label, and the following year, it becomes a much bigger and more ambitious project than he first thought.
Mi Vida Me Pasa is a very special project for me. At some point during high school I fell in love with Arturo Urbiola's music, there was something so different about it that kept me coming back. When I started film school, I knew I had to tell his story, show his music to the world and be able to share to the audience what connected me to it in the first place.
This is a documentary born from pure admiration, about love, family and being able to find oneself, told through Arturo's experience, with a very intimiate vision into his life through his music.
