Born and raised in Chicago, now living in the Beverly Hills, Chicago neighborhood and is currently a radio producer and videographer for Moody Radio.
He has done his own personal screening at the Gene Siskel Film Center in Chicago featuring 3 indie' film projects in the past that he directed, filmed and edited. He has also been noted as an actor from back in 2005 after starring in a play production at ETA Theater in Chicago, called "Robert Johnson Tricked the Devil," playing blues legend Robert Johnson.
Also known as Merwyn Sanders, he has a music background as one of the 2nd generation artist of the House music genre that started in Chicago back in 1983. Rolling Stone magazine has featured his first album under the name Virgo Four as one of the best House music albums to come out at the time. He is a voting member of the Recording Academy.
One of his most recent releases, titled "Everyman Jack" Virgo four & Stefan Braatz with Defected/NuGroove records, came out May 2023.
