Born and raised in Western Pennsylvania, McAllister has been making movies since an early age. He attended film school in Pittsburgh and would later move to Austin Texas. Since then, he has written several un-produced screenplays and pilots, made a couple short live-action and animated short films, and has been busy as a contributing video editor to the Austin-based geek culture website OneOfUs.Net.
This film was one I had hoped to shoot live-action for a couple of years. During the COVID-19 outbreak, the decision was made to produce this film as an animated production. In as chaotic a year as 2020, I feel this becomes more timely than I expected when I conceived the idea. The isolation, the fear of a violent and diseased world outside, with tensions running high, this film takes those feelings to a darker place and fantastic heights.
