Memories of a Projectionist

In 2014, I interviewed Mr. António for the documentary "Memories of a Film." The interview, however, didn't make it into the final cut, but years later I recovered these previously unseen images to give a voice to the projectionist.

Director Biography - Tiago Resende

Born in Porto, in 1990. He has a Master's degree in Audiovisual Communication, with a specialization in Documentary Cinema at Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espectáculo do Porto in 2014. Founder of the website Cinema Sétima Arte (cinema7arte.com), in 2008.

Since 2010, he has worked on directing several short films, such as "Memórias de um Filme" (2014), "A Ronda da Noite" (2017), "Marchamos" (2018) and "Películas" (2020).

He was part of the organization of Desobedoc 2019 and 2022 (Porto) and Sementeira 2019 (Viseu, at Cinema Ícaro). He is an activist on the Plataforma Já Marchavas. Lives in Viseu since 2015.
