Director Biography - Jay Miles

Jay Miles has worked in TV, video, film, audio, and commercial production for over 20 years, including shows for NBC, ABC, FOX, the Discovery Channel, HGTV, Versus, and DirecTV. His teaching credits include positions at Fairfield University, Quinnipiac University, Gibbs College, the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, and East Haven High School, where the work of his students received awards in numerous contests and festivals.

He has contributed to such magazines/Websites as Film Threat, Moviemaker, Adorama.com and Techsmith.com, as well as on panels at events including iTVFest, UFVA, and the AHSFF. He sponsored the 48Hour Film Project in New Haven, CT for several years. Miles continues to consult and produce video for independent clients, multimedia companies, studios, bands, businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and houses of worship.
