Movies are my escape. Why? Because through my life, they gave me worlds to get lost in, characters to fall in love with and stories that had the power to break or heal me.

As a musician, the thing that makes the biggest difference is the score. How the music helps tell a story. Vangelis, Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Trent Reznor and so many more consistently proved that a movie and its score are two sides of the same coin.

Enter Maenda: an audiovisual, cinematic project, including instrumental, dream-like ambient music with post-rock influences. Maenda was born from great personal loss and the desire to create a musical narrative that tells the story of love, death and healing, transcending the limits of genres.

My upcoming visual album & trilogy of music videos are an ode to grief, a love letter to pain and a journey of self-discovery. The title? 'They Say The Sun Is Dying'.
