Matteo Falco is an Italian film director and writer.
After years of working and experimenting with photography, in 2019 he moves to Milan where he attends NABA. In 2020 he gets screened in Festa del Cinema di Roma with the experimental short film "Teorema Zero". In 2021 "Procédure de liberation" is presented at the Florence Biennale. In the same year he writes "Terraria", a bucolic tragicomedy.
In 2023 he finishes his new film "Levità", a 51 minutes documentary set in the monastery of Pra'd'mill at the feet of Monviso.
Through these years he writes and directs other short films among fiction and documentary, such as "Notti bianche" (2019), "Nostalgia" (2021), "Pastorale" (2021) and "Alla soglia del tempo" (2023).
He often composes his own film score.
