Mates shows the daily grind of two young factory workers. At night the two friends try and escape to the factory rooftop for some peace before the grind begins again, but some how, some way, life always seems to find them.

Director Biography - Maxwell P. Price, Co-Director Greg Polski

Born in Hollywood, Florida as a millennium baby, I have had the fortune of seeing this new century from the start and I am inspired to write about it! Seeing my stories come to life on the big screen is exhilarating and I am hopeful that those people who see my films will not be able to stop thinking about them well after they see it! My goal is to make people think about the world we live in and continue to discuss the issues contained in my films or stories.

Director Statement

Mates is my first film. Everything about this project from selecting the story to the font for the credits was a challenge. Fortunately for me, I had great people around me who guided me through the process. The quality of the film is a direct result of an amazing cast and crew; from our incredible producer, Rafaela Scully, all the way to my brother Sam, who edited and produced the final cut. We are very proud of our film, and we hope you enjoy watching Mates as much as we enjoyed making it.
