Verse 1
My marriage to him is a partnership we said our vows out loud,
We made our home on the mountain with family all around,
I feel like the lucky woman, a simple life, though it's hard
we deal with time and seasons, working with good hearts
Chorus
Precious like gold, we're making big memories here
Come see our heaven, it don't cost money or beers
The good lord is looking over us, there could be no doubt
Material things don't matter to me cause it's the love the
counts.
Verse 2
I don't need or value prizes as I have my best friend here
His gaze, his look, his laughter, I know just what is clear that
we're both self-sufficient we live our life off-grid, somehow or
another the homestead gives and gives.
Repeat Chorus
8 Bars Dobro solo
Bridge
A dream is a wish the heart makes in secret, we share ours all
the way, to a creative resourceful family, that's all will ever need
Repeat Chorus
