Mask-Up
Carlo Gibson is a well-established fashion designer in South Africa.
Turning a negative into a positive was more beneficial, during the COVID 19 lockdown. Carlo Gibson from Klipa Denims and Rogerio de Oliveira from RAD Productions, ventured off to the Western Cape from Johannesburg to close one of Klipa’s stores at the V&A Waterfront. The Klipa store sadly had to close due to the lack of turnover. Carlo then decided to give away his designer Klipa masks as they traveled from Johannesburg to Cape Town.
NOTE from Rogerio the film director: “I lift this documentary up to my late Mom, June de Oliveira. She sadly passed away only one week before this documentary was filmed. During our time on the road I had to find a way to cope with my grief and realized that our time on this earth is very brief. Living life to the fullest is the best way to keep my Mom’s memory alive. I will never forget you, Mom. We love you.” (In loving memory to, June de Oliveira)
