Maryam is a 14-year-old girl who studies in the first preparatory school. Omar Danaya
International Actor, Writer, and Filmmaker

Omar Danaya is an internationally recognized actor, writer, and filmmaker from Kenitra, Morocco (born 1993). With advanced academic training in cinema and theater, he holds over 17 certifications in acting, filmmaking, and directing, reflecting his dedication to the craft.

Omar’s artistic vision is driven by a commitment to meaningful storytelling that bridges cultures and emotions. He combines his performance and writing skills to create films with strong artistic and human depth. His international acting credits include a prominent role in the Indian Bollywood series "The Freelancer", as well as appearances in the films "Il Nibbio" and "13 jours 13 nuits".

As a filmmaker, Omar directed and starred in the short film "MARYAM", which has been selected at more than 33 international film festivals and has won over 10 prestigious awards worldwide. The film stands as a testament to his ability to craft emotionally resonant and socially relevant cinema.

Fluent in Arabic, English, and French—with reading knowledge of Turkish and Spanish—Omar also speaks multiple Middle Eastern dialects. His linguistic and cultural versatility enrich his artistic expression, enabling him to connect with a broad range of characters and audiences.
