Director Statement

"Martha" is a metaphor of today's artistic world and how, often, it is a world closed for those who want to be part of it. Martha is a modern Joan of Arc, a stoic figure animated by an uncontrollable passion that drives her to completely lose control and drags her into a vortex of no return. Her burning desire to be as she needs to be is the image of every artists.
