Director Biography - Chien Dang, Johan Karlberg

Johan Karlberg is an actor turned director located in Macau SAR China, he is one of the first Caucasian actors in the Chinese film industry that made a name for himself during his career in Beijing and started his own company in Macau called Macao Movies.

He began his career in starring as Oleg the Russian Mafia Boss in the classic 2010 movie Last Kung Fu Monk and was nominated for the role of Schultz in The Resistance in 2011.

In the 2021 he was finalists as a movie maker in the world wide film festival in Peru for the movie Macao 2525 where he finished 13th place, but his biggest success was in 2023 when he was finalists in a huge international film competition in Benevento Italy sponsored by Warner Bros, his movie Return to Earth finished 4th place in that event but he received great applause and put Macau on the world map for movie making.
