Mano Ya Na Mano

A young man Rajeev, who hosts a birthday party for his old time school crush Pooja at his restaurant along with a bunch of friends- challenges Pooja's current boyfriend (who has also attended the party) to pay a visit to a spooky hotel in front of the restaurant- in the middle of the night; where Rajeev believes a drug deal is happening.

Director Biography - Aditya Prakash

Director Aditya Prakash grew up in Patna, Bihar and did his bachelors in mechanical engineering from VIT Vellore before he moved to SRFTI kolkata to follow his passion in filmmaking. After working as a crew member in several short films in college, Aditya pursued to make his own directorial debut short SHIKAAR which travelled multiple film festivals before resting it on Pocket films on YouTube. MANO YA NA MANO is his second independent directorial venture- which he wrote and edited as well; and it took almost a year to finish.
His main career goal is to make independent feature films.

Director Statement

I like goofing around with my friends by telling them "make believe" stories and watch their reactions. So one night I was telling this thriller plot to a bunch of college friends at a party. Based on their facial expressions I was changing and plotting the narrative so as to make it interesting in the moment. In the end it did turn out to be a film worthy plot which I was told would be an edge-of-the-seat thriller, if I can manage to make it as hooking as I narrated the story that very night. So I took up the challenge and Voila!
