With a BA in Mass Communications from Franklin Pierce College, Berman got his start in the entertainment industry by working as a page at Paramount Studios. It was not long after that that he landed his first job casting for Director John Frankenheimer's T.N.T. feature Andersonville. Berman was then able to work with Jeff Greenberg on the sitcom Frasier as well as Wings, My So-Called Life and the feature Father of the Bride II. Other Projects Berman has worked on include Televisions The Naked Truth and the sequel to the feature Tremors, Tremors II Aftershocks with Director Ron Underwood. (City Slickers, Tremors). Soon after, Berman left casting to produce, write and direct so he returned to the East Coast where he wrote, produced and directed a comedy short Dumb and Out In 2004 Berman released his first writing and directing feature, the romantic comedy Big Wind On Campus starring Heather McComb and Kevin Farley. Berman then wrote and directed the comedy Hollywood & Wine. The film stars Chris Kattan, Nicky Whelan, Norm MacDonald, Chaz Palminteri, Jeremy London, Chris Parnell, Vivica A. Fox, Horatio Sanz, Pamela Anderson and David Spade. In 2010 Berman co-wrote and sold the comedy Army Brats with Kevin Farley. In late 2012 Berman wrote and directed The Wedding Pact starring Haylie Duff, Angie Everhart, Scott Michael Campbell and Leslie Easterbrook. Hollywood and Wine and The Wedding Pact are currently available on Amazon streaming (my contract with Netflix just expired) and several others around the world. In 2013 Berman collaborated with Angie Everhart and created he TV comedy pilot Model Citizen and in 2018 he wrote two scripts. The Baby Pact (a sequel to The Wedding Pact) and the mystery thriller Manipulated. The latter Starring Kelly Perine, Chase Materson, Traci Lords, Michael Pare and Gail O’Grady.
