After the incidents of the Big Troll, the little monsters immersed themselves in learning, achieving outstanding results in their promotion training.

At this time, Minister Jin led the Truth Squad to Monster Fruit Academy to investigate the Big Troll incident. They even imprisoned Granny Fruity in the pyramid, where failure in the challenge would result in being locked inside forever! Seeing her friends defeated by the Truth Squad, Luna lost control. In the ensuing battle, the altar was accidentally destroyed, releasing the blue moon miasma, causing all the little monsters present to faint.

To rescue the comatose little monsters and Granny Fruity, everyone engaged in a fierce battle., Granny Fruity also faced an unprecedented challenge inside the pyramid, relying on her kindness and courage to overcome obstacles that no one had ever conquered before.

Director Biography - Yung-Chang Chang, Yu-Chieh Huang

Yung-Chang Chang/
Yung-Chang Chang, A Taiwanese director and independent producer, committed to original local works to convey the culture of Taiwan. Currently serving as the head of an independent production company, they have completed directing and producing three animated feature films.
In 2014, "MIDA" was nominated for the animation category at the Taipei Film Festival and selected for the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival in South Korea. Starting in 2019, he began working on film and television content, adapting the Taiwanese manga "Scrolls of a Northern City," completing the pilot film adaptation and won the Best Cross-Field Application Award at the 10th Golden Comic Awards & Connection+. The film "Untold Herstory," which he produced, was selected for the feature film competition at the International Film Festival Rotterdam and the Fribourg International Film Festival.

Yu-Chieh Huang/
Yu-Chieh Huang served in the Taiwanese film and television industry, participating in numerous commercials, animations, and related works.
In 2013, Huang served as the art director for the animated feature film "MIDA." In 2017, he was the assistant director for the animated feature film "TAICHI CATS."
In 2022, he directed the animated feature film "Bear Star – Operation Bear Country." The next year, he directed the animated series "Monster Fruit Academy – Traffic Safety Challenge." and in 2024, he directed the second season of the animated series "Monster Fruit Academy – Mission of the Truth Squad."

Director Statement

It all began with a well-known grandma. Since 2013, the idea of transforming the Fruity Pie characters from 2D images to 3D animation was conceived, aiming to give the long-standing children's program an opportunity to achieve lasting and timeless appeal.
The animation production started with a beloved character, Granny Fruity. The first season was set as a spin-off focusing on Granny Fruity. After accidentally entering the world of monsters, she and the little monsters from Monster Fruit Academy embark on a series of fun and fantastical adventures. In this season, the little monsters go to great lengths to protect Granny Fruity, leading to numerous exciting and humorous encounters with a new group of characters, the Truth Squad. With the addition of the wonderfully rich settings of the monster world and imaginative artistic visuals, the aim is to provide viewers with an adventure filled with endless surprises, joy, and creativity.
