Director Biography - Tommaso Mazzarini, Vesselin Nedelchev

My name is Tommaso Mazzarini, and I come from Jesi, a small town in the Marche region, Italy. I moved to Milan to study media design at NABA, where I recently graduated with honors. I love cinema and its infinite power to depict reality. I have had various experiences on set, taking on different roles, from the production to the camera department, but it is in directing that I have been able to fully express myself, turning abstract concepts into visual realities. I am currently working on my next sci-fi short movie "Rinascimento Artificiale".

Director Statement

I am fascinated about how technology can influence the human body and I have been exploring the theme throughout different projects, from a multimedia installation to the "METAMORPHOSIS" short movie, about a boy who, due to parental negligence, builds an Artificial Intelligence-powered machine to fill the void of his solitude.
