For 35 years, the Mittagstisch has been a reliable source of support for people experiencing homelessness, disability, and poverty. The filmmaker Nguyễn Tiến Lâm talks with guests and volunteers about their lives – a story about hope, pain, and faith in everyday life.

Director Biography - Lâm Nguyễn Tiến

Lâm Tiến Nguyễn grew up in Vietnam. He studied Multimedia Design in Halle, Germany and afterward Documentary Photography in Hannover, Germany. His works focus on humanistic and philosophical themes. He is currently working as an independent Filmmaker and Videographer.
