Director Biography - Stephen Kim

Stephen Kim is a Korean-American director, producer, and screenwriter currently attending Duke University. His previous films include "Almost There," from which he received a VFX supervisor credit and his directorial debut with "Avenue to Ambition: A Personal Campaign." "Almost There" received a selection and screening at the 2023 Duke Independent Film Festival. Kim's upcoming short film "Lum" enters the festival circuit in summer 2024.
Kim is also currently the Chair of Freewater Productions, Duke's student-run film production company.
