Luis Diego attended film school at Veritas University in Costa Rica. Un Bolero (2018), his first short film, was part of the Official Selection of the Shnit Worldwide Short Film Festival 2018, Panalandia Film Festival 2019 in Panama City and others.
He represented his country at the Ibero-American Film Students and Emerging Filmmakers Summit in 2018 and 2019 within the framework of the Ícaro International Film Festival in Guatemala, where his next short film, Corners and Other Things That Fade (2023), was part of the official selection of the Project Development Workshop in 2019.
Luis Diego currently works at the directing and editing departments. He has been part of feature films such as Land of Ashes (2019) and Empty Places (2023). He currently works as an editor and creative director for documentaries, short films, music videos and social media campaigns.
