When sexually adventurous Lucy and newly single Tom go home together after a uni night out, their attempt at a carefree one-night stand is complicated by the increasingly apparent insecurities that motivate their bold behaviour.

Director Biography - Megan Harding

Megan Harding is a writer and director from North East Lincolnshire. Her debut narrative short film, LUCY & TOM HAVE A ONE-NIGHT STAND, was officially selected for BIFA-qualifying Kino London Short Film Festival. Her experimental Super 8 short, AUDITION, qualified for the BIFA after selections for Sunderland Shorts, Sunrise Film Festival, and Women X, where she was nominated for the RP Rising Star Award. AUDITION was also selected for BFI Network x Film Hub North’s ‘Northern Exposure’.

Megan was in the writers room for a regional TV sitcom project in development with BAFTA-nominated producer Heather Greenwood at Keal Productions. Megan is currently developing a regional comedy-drama pilot and drama short film with Keal.

Megan’s next short film as writer-director, GOOD MAN, is Executive Produced by award-winning actor Thomas Turgoose and was shortlisted for the Slick Films Fund. Megan has been awarded a BFI Female Film Club scholarship in recognition of her work to date.

Fascinated by complex women and stories about fleeting moments of change, Megan’s films explore regional narratives, female perspectives and dysfunctional relationships through an intimate lens.
