Lovisa is an award winning director based in Iceland.
Lovísa graduated from the Icelandic film school in May, 2014. She studied screenwriting and directing. Her short film won best picture from her department at the graduation.
She also directed another short film that same semester for a friend of hers that was graduating from the drama department from the Icelandic film school and that short, Sleep tight my little darling, won best picture from the drama department at the graduation.
Sleep tight, my little darling also won best picture at the 2015 Gullmolinn Film Festival.
Lovísa won in a screenplay competition the school held with her screenplay Sluksi.
She also wrote a stageplay along with two of her friends that was chosen to be staged at the Kopavogur theatre.
Her short films Just like you and Creep have been screened at festivals all around the world and won several awards.
Lovisa is also a director and founder of Frostbiter: Icelandic Horror Film Festival.
She is currently working on her first feature film, Lost Girls and a feature length documentary, Extras. She received a grant from the Icelandic Film Fund to make Extras.
