Lovesung
Lovesung is a short film utilizing a series of shots to emulate a diary, inspired by the 1968 work, Walden by Jonas Mekas. It serves as a reflection on how life is meant to constantly change. What appears peaceful and balanced can in the blink of an eye, can be flipped upside down.

Larz Luecht is a Wisconsin-based filmmaker, musician, and photographer, whose works explore themes of paranoia, nature, identity, and spirituality. Luecht’s influences range from the expressions of identity and personal writing through the music of David Bowie, Brian Eno, and Kendrick Lamar to boundary-pushing filmmakers and visual artists Stan Brakhage, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and David Fincher. Luecht utilizes instruments and materials in unorthodox ways to showcase his perspective on the world, focusing on abstraction than realism. With his work, Luecht seeks to go into new areas of possibility that challenge the status quo and push the boundaries of what art can be.
Lovesung is a reflection on life, and the constant changes I've seen in my own. The appearance was intentional, representing nostalgia, as if it’s a long-lost home video.
