Love Mar Doll: The Collector’s Protocol

In a gritty, analog surveillance chamber reminiscent of a 12 Monkeys interrogation room, a mysterious figure known only as The Collector conducts a clinical study of artificial life. Through 36 minutes of surrealist observation, we follow the Love Mar Doll series—a descent from the cold 'Anatomy of Attachment' to the haunting 'End of the Line'.

Surrounded by a wall of CRT monitors and flickering eyes, the Collector (voiced with a hauntingly rhythmic German accent) guides the viewer through a sanctuary of biological artifacts and rare species. This is not just a film; it is a 36-minute protocol on the nature of longing, ending in a singular, joyful act of release under a clear blue sky."

Director Statement

"The Love Mar Doll series is an obsession with the mechanical soul. My goal was to create a narrative bridge between the clinical and the emotional. By introducing The Collector as our narrator, I wanted to ground the surreal visuals in a character-driven experience. The 36-minute runtime allows the viewer to move from the discomfort of observation to the euphoria of the final red balloon. It is a tribute to analog sci-fi noir and the beauty found in 'broken' things."
