I started in photography at 14 years old with a Cibachrome color house lab to end up at 19 to have a professional color lab in southern Switzerland with 6 employs to whom I sold the business after 4 years to be able to move to the "other side" of the camera. I was lucky to know many professionals photographer with whom I did workshops or work together, among them Deborah Turbeville, Michael Reinhardt, Peter Gasser & Reza Khatir. Thanks to their lessons and the inspiration that Edward Curtis gave to me, I was able to shoot over 5 years from 1989 to 1993 a collection of unique ethnic images around the world done with a Polaroid camera in 8x10 inches large format. In 2004 with the digital movie era at his beginning, I bought one of the first RED ONE camera which was also used in the fist "Clash of the Titans" WB movie which was shot in Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain) and now, after a decade of renting movie and video equipment in Tenerife and in the Seychelles, producing TV commercials in Seychelles, a documentary and the Spanish feature film "El Clan" both with director Jaime Falero in Tenerife, I decided to "cross again the line" and to produce and direct the movie "KRISTEL" beginning 2020 in Portugal which I had to suspend due to the pandemic. Meanwhile in the past 5 years I took part in many set as cameraman, dp, and sound recordist, as well as support actor (the last time was in Jaime Falero "Ron Hopper's Misfortune" starring Vinnie Jones and did some short films as film director: in 2021 "Locked Love" and the last one "A Christmas Gift" in 2022, this one in Portuguese.
