Los Mismos (The Same)
On a typical night out, two men in their mid 20's are seated in a bar.
When a homeless person approaches their table, the two ignore him and do not respond to his pleas for help.
The homeless person's request upset one of the guys who can't believe the homeless man interrupted their conversion and he begins to criticize the homeless person's actions and choices.
The film follows the rest of the night out, and as the night progresses, more parallels emerge between the behavior that the guy criticized and his own actions.

Born and raised in Jerusalem, Israel.
Studied and worked as an Electrical Engineer, but decided to move to Barcelona to attend ESCAC, the Cinema and Audiovisual School of Catalonia, to pursue a career in filmmaking.
Co-produced and worked as the first assistant director of the feature film "Akirah" in addition to producing a number of short films in Spain and Israel.
"Los Mismos" is Itay's debut short film as a Director & Writer.
As soon as I began developing my first short film, I knew I wanted to address the issue of homelessness.
First, I tried to make this short film from the point of view of homeless people.
I sat and talked with a number of homeless people, but I realized that I couldn't make an authentic film from the perspective of a homeless person because I couldn't convey the sensation of being homeless. Instead, I decided to present the issue through the eyes of "ordinary" people my age.
